cherry popsicles on hot summer days.
Days passing quickly by
as if in a hurry to reach eternity.
Eternity zooming within view
quicker than the eyes can focus.
Focus fading out of view
like stars at dawn.
Dawned on me that I’d better make
more of time before it too slips away.
